We specialize in new attractions, renovations, upgrades, scheduled maintenance, and project management.Job DescriptionScenic ArtistPay $17-20 hr. Depending on experienceSummary:Apply paint, varnishes and other coatings to a variety of materials and surfaces working primarily in the construction and manufacturing, painting structures or industrial commodities. May require an industry specialty, such as house painting, automotive painting or machinery painting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Gathering and preparing necessary information, tools and items needed to complete assigned painting taskPainting Faux finishes, such as wood graining, marbleizing, aging, sponging and rag rollingField color matching – picks colors and mixes paint while using color matching for desired assignmentDrawing, layout and painting of backdrops and murals with either brush or airbrushPreparing surfaces to be painted. Consisting of cleaning, scraping, caulking, applying putty, sanding, patching, priming and base paintingPainting or airbrushing of 2D or 3D fields and propsCleaning up paint area.
